About Us
The firm was established in 1976 as a Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering Consulting providing Consulting Services to Government and Private Sectors under the style of Uniconsult. The main areas of activities are confined to West Malaysia.
Realising the rapid economic and Industrial development in Malaysia and Brunei, and the introduction of the Fourth Malaysia Plan, new partners were taken in to improve the consulting services. In late 1981, the firm extended its operations into East Malaysia and Brunei region. The name of the firm was changed to “Perunding Timur” to mark the expansion to the East. Another purpose of the change of name is to avoid confusion with “Uniconsult” of Brunei and “Unicon” of Kuala Lumpur. The two mentioned firms do not have any tie or working arrangements with Perunding Timur Sdn. Bhd.
As of today, the region our services have expanded to Singapore, Republic of Maldives, China, Uganda and Pakistan.
